Passive and Magic Skills

Definately the stragest of the Amazon´s three skill tress, the Passive and Magic skill trees contain skills that are Passive (those that are not selected and mapped to a mouse button, but rather constant in effect) and those that are purely magical and not dependent upon a weapon to be used. 

Tbe four skills at the left of the tree are her magical skills, while the other two sets are Passive skills.  This tree compliments the Amazon´s other skill trees by giving further power to them and not having to be selected to be put to use.  The Amazon also has some powerful magical skills that mostly effect her enemies movement or even give her an extra edge when it comes to firepower.

Eye of Zeus (Req: Clvl 1) Eye of Zeus causes enemies to glow and also reduces their Defense Rating.  An active skill, Eye of Zeus also makes it easy for the Amazon to successfully  hit her enemies, and increases her chances to see them in low-kighting conditions.

Critical Shot (Req: Clvl 1) Critical shot, a passive skill, inceases the chance that the Amazon´s target will recieve mazimum damage for a successful ht.  This may also be accompanied by a small starburst graphic.  The chance of getting a Critical hit increases with the number of skill points alloted to this skill.

Dodge (Req: Clvl 5) Dodge allows the amazon to avoid getting hit by melee attacks  while she stands completely still.  A passive skill, the chance of not getting hit increases with the number of skill points in the skill.

Hand of Athena (Req: Clvl 10, Eye of Zeus) An active skill, Hand of Athena slows enemies and also reduces their Defense Rating.  This allows the Amazon to hit her targets easier and to also keep a good amount of distance between herself and her opponents.

Avoid (Req: Clvl 10, Dodge) Avoid, also a passive skill, allows the Amazon to avoid missle attacks while she is standing still.  Avoid and Dodge together make the Amazon very hard to successfully hit while unmoving.

Penetrate (Req: Clvl 15, Critical Shot) Penetrate increases the Amazon´s Attacking Rating with ranged weapons.  This passive skill is one of the best skills to compliment any other skill in the Amazon´s skill trees as it increases her base chance to hit a foe.

Fist of Aries (Req: Clvl 20, Eye of Zeus, Hand of Athena) The Fist of Aries conjures forth a glowing ball that fires whenever the Amazon does.  We do not know if the Fist fires arrows or perhaps magical projectiles, or whether it copies the effect of a fire shot with another skill.  It does effectively double an Amazon´s firing rate and damage, however.

Evade (Req: Clvl 20, Dodge, Avoid) Evade allows the Amazon to avoid missle attacks while she is in motion.  Coupled with Dodge and Avoid, this pasive skill could make an Amazon a very hard target to hit, and the chance of avoiding a hit increases with a higher skill level.

Valkyrie (Req: Clvl 25, Eye of Zeus, Hand of Athena, Fist of Aries, Dodge, Avoid, Evade) This active skill´s effect is unknown, but taking a cue from Norse Mythology we believe the Valkyrie will summon some sort of being to aid the Amazon.  It may create a  mirror image controlled by the AI, a sort of NPC-on-command skill.  Whatever it´s real effect, as a Clvl 25 skill you can be assured it will be powerful.

Pierce (Req: Clvl 25, Critical Shot, Penetrate) Pierce, a passive skill, enables any missle weapon fired by the Amazon to pass through multiple creatures, making the most out of each shot fired.  Accompanying other skills, this skill could prove very lethal.
