  • More Diablo: The Calling Downloads. (4/1)

Gamespot has created a new MPEG version of the Diablo: The Calling cinematic, but it is over 69 MB in size which will make for a rather long download.  You can find it in our Downloads section as well as theirs.  We also have the 41 MB Bink version on our servers, for added speed. 

  • Diablo II Beta Hacked! (4/1)

Woeful, horrid news for all of us expecting this not to happen this time around, but it appears that the Diablo II Beta has been hacked, and the classic TownKill cheat has been reinvented.  This is espicially bad as town is the only place to declare hostility in Diablo II and will not be exceptionally vulnerable.  We will not post such a deplorable cheat here, but you can visit Adrenaline Vault if you want to stoop that low.

Blizzard has updated their site with a new rendered shot taken from the Calling cinematic, as well as adding links for the Beta testers, these are Closed Beta Support News and Closed Beta Technical Support. 

  • New Beta Winners... (4/1)

Attempting to keep the suspense at maximum, EBWorld.com has released two more Beta CD winners, the are Matt Wong and Alejandro Santamaria.  The last should be released as soon as they wish to finally end this game of suspense. 

  • Daily Radar - First Impressions. (4/1)

Daily Radar has posted their first impressions of the Diablo II Closed Beta (from the few copies of the Beta they incidentally kept for themselves).  This preview comes equipped with some new screenshots and rendered shot, so send your browser here for the skinny.

Gamespot has a new set of previews for each of the Diablo II characters available for perusal upon their site, each preview is complete with some screenshots.  See it here. 

  • Beta CDīs Shipped... (4/1)

The Beta CDīs have been shipped and already several of them have found their ways to their respective owners.  The result has been a deluge of screenshots so massive that even we cannot quite keep up with it.  Expect to see all of our screenshot archives to be updated in the near future.
